Zdeformowane postaci, które zachowują pamięć swoich pięknych poprzedników, sprawiają, że spojrzeć czytelnik musi na nie z czułością, podobnie jak czynią to autorzy. Nie sposób bowiem oprzeć się wrażeniu, że zarówno w wyjątkowo charakterystycznych grafikach PIO (zajączek przebity strzałami mną wstrząsnął) i nie mniej rozpoznawalnych tekstach Franczaka, nie ma miejsca na konwencjonalne rozwiązania. Nawet, jeśli to tylko bajki.
